The Southern Hospitality Restaurant Group which brought fine dining, jazz supper clubs and extraordinary breakfast cuisine to Detroit with Seldom Blues and Detroit’s Breakfast House & Grill now adds classic southern soul food to Detroit with Motown Soul Food Café inside the opulent Fisher Building. “The restaurant celebrates the history of Motown, featuring the music that helped put the city on the map, and images of the musicians who embodied the era.” “It is only fitting that Detroit is now home to Motown Soul Food Café,” said Stevie Wonder, singer, songwriter and Motown legend, “a restaurant that will pair classic soul food with classic soul music. Motown Soul Food Café is located on the first floor of Detroit’s Fisher Building, at the corner of East Grand Boulevard and Second Avenue in Detroit’s New Center area. It is open seven days a week, serving lunch, dinner and cocktails.
